Ana Kalyana, we had simmilar problem with one of our dogs. She was growling whenever someone got head close to her. Quite scarry. Now, she is such a cuddle, never stops licking us and really is a totally differend dog. Our friend Rasko Vukic, personal dog trainer, was working wit her for a short while and he is really great. It was only some long walks and teaching her to find "her place in a pack" as he said. We only continued to walk with her and do those tricks that he show us and everything was fine. I can reach to him if you still need help, to see if he is available.
