J- curious. My 9th grade Girl Scout daughter is looking to earn her community service bar. She is looking to do ranch hand service. She needs 20 hours. Before we moved...
Wes Johanna Fisher LOVE this idea for S, but check the requirements in the Senior guidebook and council for parameters of service. Working at just any ranch would be equivalent of interning for a business - it's not true "service". However, volunteering at a rescue / shelter etc (somewhere that is acting for the community) would be appropriate. For example, Epona Horse Rescue in Indio has had several of our scouts come volunteer for them in the past.
