My husband and I are moving there in January and are looking for a daycare facility for our 18 month old daughter. We would love some suggestions...

I have an opening in my in home daycare. I have 25 years of experience and am looking for a child between the ages of 12 months - 4 years old. I run it as a business including contract, claim it on taxes, registered with 4C's for Children and have references. Please give me a call at 937-546-0341.
Bobbi H. replied:
Highly recommend Joycie's Little Angels Daycare@937-546-0341. In home daycare - her angel's and their parents love her! Welcome to the Creek!

I really loved Mini University at Wright State University. Very safe and secure teachers are wonderful my son even attended the kindergarden there and loved the small class size.
Lisa S. replied:
I have 1 opening in my home childcare if you are interested. My home is behind the Beavercreek High School and I have a 3 year old and soon his little brother will start. Msg me if interested. If your looking for a center, I have heard awesome things about Evergreen and Bright Beginnings. Good luck in your search and "Welcome to the Creek!!"
Kristy B. replied:
Aley Christian-Academy Daycare is awesome !!! No complaints That place was heaven sent for me and my children
Danyale K. replied:
Bright Beginnings is amazing, and so is Evergreen! I highly recommend both. Do not take your child to Young Learners World. It was an awful experience!
Heather M. replied:
The Bombeck Family Learning Center is a phenomenal facility for children, but it's a bit of a drive, as it's located near UD in Dayton. Wonderful learning curriculum, dedicated teachers, caring staff, lots of amazing activities.
Staci H. replied:
I am the director at La Petite Academy in Beavercreek and I love our school! Great family center and educationally based, please check out our website at Lapetite.com or google our reviews! I have four kids of my own and they each attend as well. Feel free to call 937-427-2689!
Karen W. replied:
Mini University at Wright State University. They are also accredited and one of the first to become accredited back in the 80's.
Karen W. replied:
ok Heather's suggestion is also a good one but, it is a drive and Mini University is also rated high. I would try either one of these first! I was an early childhood teacher for 30 years and you can't go wrong with one of these centers.
Melinda L. replied:
Bright Beginnings daycare on Lantz rd in Beavercreek - it's the place my girls went and it's the only place I would ever recommend! Low student to teacher ratios, credentialed staff, incredible acreage of play area and they have a cool pirate ship! Robin Boedeker Ferguson
Heather B. replied:
My 3 kiddos go to Days of Discovery Beavercreek (2 start Step Up to Quality center). Check ODJFS http://www.odjfs.state.oh.us/cdc/query.asp for inspection reports of any daycare, do drop in visitations to see what it's really like (google good questions to ask when looking for a daycare), check how secure/safe the places are. Days blew me away. They have curriculum standards posted everywhere and go on little field trips. Colorful and healthy snacks and lunches and LOW turnover. Many of the above are well known good daycares.... check them all out.
Lisa L. replied:
Inspire Center For Learning is modern, clean, has a STEM program and Montessori Preschool/school if desired. I have two children enrolled there. Check it out for yourself...it's incredible!
Ronda R. replied:
Bright Beginnings is top notch. Highly recommend you check them out. Best place ever!
Christy S. replied:
Evergreen Children's Center! My daughter attended from ages 2-12. The staff is outstanding, they will become your second family.
Kristen S. replied:
My daughter goes to Days of Discovery (at the intersection of Dayton-Xenia and N Orchard). She started when she was about 18 months. They do diapers, which is great b/c we haven't done potty training yet. They have a pre-school and kindergarten there, too. I love that my kiddo is so excited to go to "school" - it means things are going really well! http://www.daysofdiscovery.com/Beavercreek/Beavercreek.htm
Pat B. replied:
Beavercreek Christian Learning center is great. They do not delay or close down at the first hint of snow. Discounts too for active military.
Monique R. replied:
Bright Beginings has had all three of our kids, my oldest being in 5 th grade started in their infant room. The teachers are top notch and their curriculum is incredibly impressive and effective. Like everyone else, we could go on and on.

Christi D. replied:
I'm a stay at home mom, but all of my friends who work or just wanted some free days or hours during the day used Bright Beginnings. For one they are one of the few preschools that takes non-potty trained kids (because they are also a day care) and two, they have a great reputation. The few people that I know that didn't use Bright Beginnings used The Nazarene Church on Fairfield. They have a day care and a school k-5 ( I believe)
Christina G. replied:
Bright Beginnings is wonderful. Small class sizes & their teachers have degrees.
Marissa F. replied:

Merrie-Time Christian Preschool and Daycare is amazing. Their staff is excellent and really care about the kids in their care. The director is super nice and the tuition is the lowest in town.
Lindsay A. replied:
Bright Beginnings!!! After you do a tour with them you won't ever want to settle for anything else!
Patty F. replied:
All of my Grandchildren went to Bright Beginnings. They were wonderful and the kids got a great start towards school. Actually, the youngest ones also went to Kindergarten there as well. Now my Great Nieces and Nephews go there.

Any recommendations on daycare for toddler? How's the base care? Vs off base?
Michele H. replied:
Mandy Saujon is a licensed in home provider, and is located in the Prairies housing area. I am not sure if she is taking more kids, but she is FABULOUS, very thorough and caring. She is my neighbor so I have had the chance to see her in action, Very trustworthy, which is something every parent worries about =)

We used Mini University at Wright State. Absolutely loved it. A bit pricey but well worth it
Do you know if there is any in-home daycare in our neighborhood? We need a temporary solution for our 15 month old son while waiting on my parents to get here in a week...
Tracy G. replied:
Did you try Care.com? I have heard good things about it.
Wondering if anyone can recommend a good daycare for a 6 week old in the area? Thanks!
Amy E. replied:
Infant care is all about who YOU feel comfortable with. We also love the ladies@Kindercare on N. Fairfield. It's not a new/fancy building, but the staff is like family.
Julie F. replied:
We loved Bright Beginnings. 2 of my kids went there. We were sad to leave there this year.
