Can anyone recommend accounting software that actually works. I have decided Quickbooks is not 'quick' and is about to be abandoned! Any recommendations would be...
Maureen W. replied:
Hello, Debbie I am a pro advisor for quick books. Are you using desktop or on-line. I have found a lot of time-saving facilities in the QBO. Would be willing to meet for a coffee and a chat to see if I can help. call me 07850 378 618.
Craig M. replied:
https://www.kashflow.com my company uses Kashflow it seems a pretty good and straightforward package I guess it depends on your needs
Mark O. replied:
Hello Debbie, I know Maureen is an expert in this area and unlike most of us has experience of using a wide variety of different accounting software packages. However, she is a professional book keeper of several years standing so her use and experience may be different to your needs. I use Xero and have always found it dead easy and intuitive for the non professional user. Being cloud based means my accountant can also log in and deal with anything that I can't manage. You can also use it on mobile devices. As it happens before Xero I used Quick Books and absolutely hated it. As you say, the one thing it isn't is quick. I would never go back to anything that wasn't cloud based. I am now considering a product called Zoho Books because it integrates neatly with all their other business applications. Good luck and thanks for starting a genuine discussion.

Kashflow works for me, take a look http://kf.cm/1MPBI1J
Stephen F. replied:
I use Xero easy to use and great for what I need being out on the road and able to invoice customers great bit of kit www.Xero.com
I think this OK though. I/we need a new accountant that is reliable, economical and ideally based in Bedford. All suggestions welcome.

Michael C. replied:
MacIntyre Hudson on Goldington Rd do mine but they're pretty complex and so charge accordingly. Depends how complicated they are. If simple then someone like the above, complex then bite the bullet and go with the big boys, they'll cost but then save in the long run.
