The cost for the service call, hose replacement and installation for my almost 10 year old GE Profile washing machine was $237.13 per the company that GE subcontracts their work, A&E Service. I leave that with Julia Baker as a baseline figure to work with. (By the way, they work Monday-Friday and not on Saturdays.)

Yay!!! It's fixed! I only took my husband 10 mins! It was the lid sensor. 20 dollar part from Sears appliance parts, and a great video Internet site that showed us step by step instructions!!!
