Cape Fair corps of eng. Cape Fair MO clean showers, swimming beach, fishing and 20 minutes from Branson if you want to go there take 71 north to MO76, at Anderson stay on 76 to Cape Fair

Friends used to camp at Prairie Creek on Beaver Lake. Not busy any more but it used to be packed. Very pretty park and the swimming area was nice. Close enough to drive to check it out first.

We've used Camp Bow Wow several times for day camp and overnight and have always been pleased with them. You'll have to take your dog down there for a "socialization interview" where you'll drop him off for a couple of hours or so, but it's no big deal.
