I haven't been to Pacific smiles but Dr Ashley Rowe and everyone at https://www.facebook.com/865272986902774 Sandstone Point Dental has been fantastic for me after avoiding dentists for over a decade.

if you are a pensioner or have a health care card you can get free dental at Caboolture, near the hospital but if you need urgent attention they quite often give you a voucher if you have an appropriate card you can call 1300 300 850
