Need a dentist. I need a lot of work done on my teeth. Chemotherapy and my neglect of dental health during that time basically ruined a lot of my teeth. I need cavities...

Where are you located? My mom goes to Advanced Dental Solutions (Dr Rairigh) for sedation dental work and absolutely loves him and his staff. He's on Ft Couch Rd across from south hills village.

You literally just missed the weekend long FREE dental clinic that was just a giant room filled with dentists. Happened a month or so ago... I also missed it. Getting to the place at 4 am to beat the lines for when it opened at 8 or 9 wasnt enticing either. I'm still looking for a dentist too as I have zero insurance in America.

The Dentistry is awesome, they're all about fearful patients. My husband started going to them and they are so kind and calm. He no longer stressed about having to go and they put together a plan to work within his insurance limits over the next 3 years so we don't have to pay too much out of pocket for crowns, bridges, implants, etc.

If you're in Harmar, Dr. Pazman in Cheswick is great.

I highly recommend Dr. Dunlap in the North Hills. It's a husband/wife practice that accepts a wide range of insurances.

You could try Pitt's Dental school. They'll do a consultation and will setup a treatment plan. They also do sedation from what I remember. [Link to their Site](http://dental.pitt.edu/patients)

I don't really have a suggestion for you as I just started going to a new dentist and have yet to form a solid opinion myself. But honestly, your best bet is probably to just google dentists close to your area of the city that offer sedation dentistry for anyone too nervous to visit. Take that list and narrow it down to dentists who accept your insurance, or if you don't have insurance (like I didn't for a few years) learn about Care Credit and find a dentist that also accepts that. Once you've compiled a small list, you can read patient reviews to find a good one. Good luck and hope everything works out for you!

Standard line... I hate the dentist, blah blah blah. Dr. Bob is solid. Wife and I have been going for 6 years or more now and it's as good as going to the dentist can get. http://www.drbobrosswog.com/

If you are anywhere near Squirrel Hill, I have had a good experience with Bruce Parker and the location is very convenient if you ride the bus (right at Forbes and Shady). I get nervous and the hygienists are very friendly and chatty, which calms me down: http://bruceparkerdmd.com/

I've been going to Dr. Greico in Murrysville for pretty much my whole life and he is a great guy. I live in the North Hills now but still go to see him. His office staff is great too. Would not recommend Dr. Tovissi as I developed bad TMD after she did a filling on me last summer.

Dr. Edmund Effort in Gateway Center downtown. Any hassle getting there will be worth it. He helped me finally fix my teeth and I can comfortably smile for the first time ever.
