Pike Place Market

If you just want a pretty bouquet and you can pick it up yourself, then definitely, Pike Place Market. You'll get fresher flowers, more variety, and a MUCH better price. If you want a more formal arrangement in a container, and/or you want it delivered, then I've gotten nice ones from Ballard Blossom.

the florist on 1 st and pine(or is it Pike?) is pretty awesome

Seconding the Eastlake Flower Lady. I walk in, tell her what I did wrong, and walk out with a bouquet.

I like [The Flower Lady](http://www.seattleflowerlady.com) on Eastlake. I can always walk in, tell them a price and sometimes a particular flower or color to feature, and walk out in 10 mins with a gorgeous bouquet.
jonnysake replied:
Careful of the flower shop on the corner of 1 st and pike. I forget the name of the place, but the service is pretty crummy. Actually really crummy. Got scoffed at by the florist for asking to have a single rose wrapped up among other issues over the course of last year :(

If you do Pike, go late in the afternoon. Those flowers are priced to move.

Just go to Pike Place. I've had bad florist luck in this town for some reason, and the Pike Place flowers are always beautiful.
snarklepop replied:
Definitely Pike Place. Second choice would be a farmer's market in one of the neighborhoods (most are closed for the season but u-district, fremont and ballard are year-round).

The market, definitely. Bright, fresh, lovely, cheap, and supporting local business. Superwin.
