I agree with Melissa! Www.100 daysofrealfood.com has lots of REAL food recipes. Yummy easy dinners - that kids would like too! Lots of lunch ideas for kids too but you could use the ideas just increase portion size.

You might join the group Ask A Vegan Dietitian. Mark Rifkin will answer your question personally, with science to back it up! A lot of the plant-based/vegan athlete books out there focus on endurance sports like running. But I do think they're all helpful in their own way!

Is he your son? You should be aware of brain damage/concussions cause by the most violent "sports" in the world. If I were his dad I would encourage him to play competitive chess or get involved in the American Mathematics Competitions (high school level) .
