Good food in Maple/Vaughan? I just moved to Vaughan, haven't really found any good places to eat so far.
What's the best restaurants around? I honestly love all kinds...

You HAVE to go to Gordo's Diner at 200 Edgeley Blvd. It's the cutest old-school diner with classic diner food and reasonable prices. Go on the weekend and get the cinnamon swirl pancake (only available on weekends). It's so good.

Highway 7 and Leslie There’s an amazing Chinese place open till 4 am It’s called New Choice it’s cash only for some reason, but great food

If you don't mind heading a little North and you like Indian food, Vintage Spice at Yonge and Wellington is hands down my favourite Indian joint. El Bocho on Yonge just north of Major Mack is fantastic, and if you're looking for an old fashioned greasy spoon, across the street from El Bocho is the Three Coins Diner. It's been open and pretty much unchanged since 1955. Best breakfast in all of the GTA.
Taste of Hakka if you want to try Indian style Hakka Chinese food.

There are no good restaurants in Vaughan in my experience. I usually travel south of Lawrence when I’m looking for a night out. Scaddabush, Montana’s, The Keg are all chains that are a reasonable standard (if you’ve moved from a far away land). I like Il Fornello on Yonge/Carville (also a chain). Also try Nando’s in this area....

Pho 128’s pho is delicious! I like to go to Buffalo Wild Wings on Tuesday’s for their $0.75 wing deal (but some people may not think it’s good).

Southeast Sandwiches has great tacos. Ciao Roma has excellent Roman style pizza. Gelato Gelato and Pizzeria Via Mercanti both do excellent Neapolitan pizza. There's an Afghani kebab place at Vaughan Mills that I can't remember the name of but is good. Memphis BBQ is affordable and good. Burger's Priest is there and can be good sometimes. Ricci's does a good slice and panzo Pho Real has excellent pho. I don't get why people are saying Pho 128 is good. I tried it and it was very mediocre. Pho Metro.

Well it's a little west of BH and Westfield, but Alfie's in Warren has the best food of any BYO place I've ever gone to in NJ. http://alfiesristorante.com/
