^I have had bad experiences with a couple of the groomers named above. We only take our dog to Pet Smart in Tom's River to Greta or Neal. Since they are corporate, they have strict rules for checking in the animals, etc. They do an amazing job and I' ve never had a bad experience. Fur Balls gave me a hard time and told me to comb my dog out before bringing him there (sorry, I thought that what I was paying YOU to do) and Canine Design cut my dog's nail too short and left him bleeding for hours (my jeans and car seat were covered in blood) and burnt near his eyes with a hot electric razor (so much for "hand scissoring"). At least Fur Balls has made donations to Popcorn Park Zoo, which I respect.
