Where should I go for an inexpensive oil change? I know the rates generally don’t vary that much but I’m looking for a reliable place for the lowest price. All I...

You're best off going to a family/locally owned place than a chain place like Auto Zone. I don't know where in the Valley you are but Lee Millers or Feinours or something of the like. They're less likely to rip you off in my experience

Buy an oil catch pan and then buy the oil and filter and change it yourself. That's the cheapest way. Remove the one bolt from the oil pan under the vehicle and let it drain into the catch pan. Remove the filter and likewise, let it drain into the catch pan. Make sure the o ring from the filter came off. Spin on new filter until hand tight and replace the oil pan bolt. Fill with correct amount and type of oil from fill area on top of engine (use a funnel to ensure no spillage). Replace oil cap, run engine for a minute or so, pull dipstick and check level. Takes about 15 minutes

Your best bet would be to check for a Groupon. Alternatively some places will run specials which will be posted in things like your local paper, or they'll send mailers out (just got one to Meineke not long ago).

I get my truck changed with full synthetic at Pagats Auto Services on Freemansburg Ave for about $45 which is unheard of. Great guys there as well.

The Meineke over in Emmaus is fantastic.

NTB in Whitehall will do a $19.99 conventional change. They will even rotate your tires for free. There will be tax and an oil disposal fee.

If you use conventional oil, you can go to Midas with a coupon and get it for $20. I don't think I'd trust them with anything more than that, but I haven't had any issues in the past for just an oil change.

Walmart. My mechanic wanted 40$ more than what I paid there.
