Beverly Athletic Club off of Sohier Road. They have great Group Ex programs in addition to an awesome pool (they offer water programs as well), a Pilates studio and all the weight and cardio equipment you'd need. I've been a member for over 3 years and love it there. The staff is awesome.

Any good Zumba classes around without joining a gym?
Donna M. replied:
Yes I am joining Mitchell's Dance studio on Thursday nights

Seriously, if you have tried it, you already love it I am sure, but if you are free, try dropping in tomorrow night at 6:30 Torigian Y on Lynnfield ST in Peabody. I will be there, and everyone loves Cheryl's class!

I go to Zumba all over, you can try the drop in at most places free. I can recommend a Sat am 9:15 class run by Cheryl Cormier, she teaches it out of her apartment complex 14 North on 114 in Peabody, it's in the half court in the fitness center. Nothing to join, it's $8 drop in and if you like it and then join her Facebook group page, it's a $5 drop in after that. If you are interested I would message her Zumba with Cheryl on Facebook for directions to get into the fitness center. She is awesome. I also take her class at Peabody Y Friday nights at 6:30 and Saugus Y 9:30 Sunday mornings. You can get a free pass at Y to try that one but ultimately have to join.
Judith D. replied:
Chris Herrick, who I see is a friend of yours, and I go to many Zumba classes at Beverly Y too, but again, you can drop in $10 (free 3 day pass to try) and not join. Tues pm and Thurs at 6 (crowded classes) Monday night 7:30 (Vange Egizi's class, I am a regular) and Wed 9 am she also has a class. There is Wed 4:30 with Dawn Bizzarro also there.
Any recommendations for a personal trainer? I'm not a gym member and won't be joining one, just looking for someone who trains out of their home or would come to ours....
