Some people scoff at "mall salons" and I know you specified Beverly but most of my friends and clients and co-workers go to Brigid Boyle and Caitlin Lento at Regis Salon at the Northshore Mall in Peabody. They have NEVER steered us wrong and everyone we know has left quite happy. And as far as colouring goes, these ladies are phenomenal. Whether repairing or doing something creatively beautiful - they're not just knowledgeable stylists, they're artists. I'll post a pic of Brigid who does her own colouring. Heather Littlefield can vouch for Brigid's brilliance. My mop is a mess right now (split ends and dye as well - my bads and I am LONG overdue for Brigid's help to fix my self-inflicted nightmare.
