Family Doctors in Bigfork, MT

Dr. Doug Nelson has been our for all kids. He was in the delivery room when things went really bad with Alex, he was the one to resuscitate her and get us in with the doctors in Spokane. He has also taken care of all my grandparents and Lindsey's kids too.

He is with Family Health Care.

I can't believe Dr. Wilder is still practicing! He was my doctor growing up!

I've heard great things about Dr. Wilder, too, but when we moved here, he wasn't taking new patients.:( So we are at Family Health Care.

I go to Dr. Leah Carlburg at big sky family medicine. She is great with my kids (and me) and her nurse goes to our church! Lol:-)

Dr Schwaller is a good pediatrician, but their office is hard to deal with and I waited an hour for a 5 minute appt!

Dr. Christopher Gill is another good one. He is in the same building as Dr. Nelson, Family Health Care.

We use Bigsky Animal Clinic for our vet...they're very nice and great with the animals! I think they'd probably do fine with kids too, if you wanna go that route.

We also go to Big Sky Animal Clinic! Highly recommend them. But if your family refuses to walk on 4 legs then I would probably recommend Family Health Care.:) Good Luck!

We're at Family Health too. But just know, you can see one of the main docs for yearly type stuff, but for everything else you're going to be going to Urgent Care anyway and you'll never see them. So in my opinion, with kids your age, it's not going to matter much who your "doc" is - we use Berkram (sp) but have been happy with all of them.

For pediatricians Dr. Wilder is the ticket - the man is a wealth of knowledge and has practically seen it all. He has a calming presence and all my kids love him! The other pediatrician in his office is Dr. Schwaller - they are both great with our kids.
