Hello

Vets - I need a really good Vets in the area...
Steve R. replied:
I know it's not on your list, but if you need a dog groomer that can come to you, take a look at https://www.facebook.com/176652496178195Scruffies Dog Grooming - www.scruffiesgrooming.co.uk:)
Sarah G. replied:
I know it's not on your list but if you are looking for any day care for your dog or just a secure field to use for safe off lead exercise then I would totally recommend The Willow Tree doggy daycare on the road between Biggleswade and Langford. Our dog loves it there. X
Laura G. replied:
Welcome to Biggleswade! I'm new too and I was highly recommended deepdale vets, I have had to take my cat in alot since I've been here and they have been fantastic. I've signed up at st Andrews dental surgery and had a filling so far and i would rate them too. I hope you enjoy it here! X
Sarah G. replied:
We also use St Andrews dental practice, they are in town, and Ivel Medical Centre in Chestnut Ave, but other Dr's practice good too. That's the Health Centre on Saffron Rd. Best to choose whichever is closer to you. X
Kate W. replied:
Elizabeth Smiths for vets, the only one with emergency vet onsite after hours, without travelling to far in an emergency. Both my dogs go and they've been great after a bad experience.

Hi there. My lawn is awful - bumpy ground weeds, seems to have more than one species of grass that grow at different rates.
Can anyone recommend a decent lawn doctor or...
Alex M. replied:
Hi. Call jessie on 07500958983. She runs a garden company and knows all about lawn care.
Jo S. replied:
I use Green Thumb too

Marilyn F. replied:
We used Green Thumb and weren't at all happy with them. They insisted they'd treated our grass while we weren't in but they couldn't have gained access to our back garden as the gate was securely locked. We now use Jon at Lawn rite from Hitchin and he's really good! Can't recommend him highly enough.

Tasha G. replied:
And me, a vote for Jon Boon
Trevor B. replied:
If Brilliant Lawns (Tim Hector) can't fix it then Biggleswade Gardencare will lay a new one for you at a very reasonable rate

Quick question seems like my son may have croup is there any out of hours doctors around here or anything as it says I should call the doc if his cough gets any worse...
Eleanor S. replied:
I've just come back from Biggleswade hospital said my 10 month old daughter has croup an to keep an eye on it:-/ xxx
Tracey O. replied:
The Biggleswade hospital is 24/7. Call Med Doc0345 601 0244. You could call NHS Direct first but to be honest they will only pass you onto a nurse who refers to you the hospital doctor. You should seek immediate medical help for croup. My daughter has had that and I know how awful it can be, hope all is ok X
Sakara D. replied:
Thank you all he is off to Biggleswade hospital now to be checked I didn't even know there was one
