I don't know of a natural dentist. What exactly are you looking to avoid? I go to Dr. Michael Myrick. He's great, and accommodating to the fact that I don't want fluoride or unnecessary X-rays.

Scott and I love Dr. Williams with Riverside Dental. We both HATE the dentist also but he makes you feel super comfortable, always tells you what he's doing, asks questions while he's doing things, just all around nice guy, good bed side manor and makes sure that you are comfortable and in no pain. My mom, my sister, Scott's mom, and a few others we know all go to him.

Dr. Jon did all the work on nick when he had his accident. they were amazing and their bedside manor was also amazng! great people.

I see Dr Chris Aumok in Owego and they are great over there! I also hate going to the dentist (my teeth hurt just thinking about it lol) but am always pleased after going to see them. The hygienists are all really great too.

Dr. Diane Downton in Johnson City. She has fair prices! I"ve gone there forever it seems! Very friendly accommodating dental hygenists who are very careful with my sensitive recession areas! Be careful with the price of a cleaning! My dentist is very reasonable! Some dentists charge twice as much! ASk how much before you go!

We LOVE Dr. Ruffo! We were referred to him last year after we had had several issues with Lalor Creekside!! (Do not go there!!! I can tell you several nightmares that will leave you sleepless)... I've never been to Dr. Grossman, but he is super nice. I did photos for his family in 2012 and he was great to work with. I've heard lots of good things about him too.

Dr Grossman in the four corners of endicott. They are AMAZING. Rich is terrified of the dentist and they have a special cleaning treatment they can do with water that they did for him and he had no anxiety what so ever! And they are a cosmetic dentist as well so if you have any issues they can fix it. They do excellent work. Doctors are nice good bedside manner. TVs in every exam room to distract you. Staff is super nice. They can get you in quick for visits or emergencies too. We are sad to say our new insurance is not taken by them and I'm so sad. Not as sad as rich lol.

I will throw in my dentist...Mike Buglione. Vestal Dental Associates. I went to high school with him. I have been going there since I was a child and his dad was the dentist.

Judy, Lalor Creekside Dental on vestal pkwy...talk to them about being nervous, my sister-in-law was always scared to go and they gave her something...maybe happy gas or something so she didn't worry about going and having work done. We also go there, but I've never had a problem...Dr John ( female) is excellent...good luck

Dr. Ronald Grant, Arthur St. Binghamton. He is one of the very few dentists I would recommend and he is a participating provider with Metropolitan ins. I wish I could still use him ;-(

Judy, I went to Dr Tim Farrell at Summit Dental Arts on Riverside Dr. I love my regular dentist but he doesn't do sedation dentistry and Dr Farrell does. He is ALL about getting you to your level of comfort including visits that are nothing more than sitting in the chair if need be to help with anxiety. Highly HIGHLY recommend him to anyone with fear and anxiety at the dentist office. I think you would truly be glad you went to see him

Thank you everyone for your help. I went to Summit and saw Carolyn Riley she was awesome! Had an accident and broke my big front tooth...she did a great job fixing it! Highly recommend her!

Lalor Dental is phenomenal. I get sick when I have to go to the dentist. I was having some issues and my daughter recommended them. They made me feel very relaxed.

Dr Douglas is fantastic as is his dautgher Marisa Clifford. If you really have an abscess you should probably go to urgent now!

If the tooth is in your gums your likely to have to need surgery at least that's what happened to me I went to Cortland Oral Surgey Center: Sangiacomo Thomas R DDS in Cortland they were really good.

I go to Dentes Dental on Tompkins - they are so wonderful! Everything is brand new and clean, and as far as billing, I have never paid anything up front. The bills they have sent me are completely pay-as-you-can, and no interest or anything. That may depend on your insurance, but they're very understanding when it comes to payments!

I did that a couple months ago. VERY happy with my dentist, Caroline Riley with Summit Dental.

Don't know about the valley, but Aspen Dental on the Vestal Parkway does..there really good.. been going there for years.
