My college roommate had a band called Lava Lamp for her reception at the Auburn Hotel. They are a 70's cover band with the polyester, afros, and everything. I know it sounds crazy, but they were a huge hit and had everyone dancing the whole time!

They are from Memphis, but we used The Kathryn Fowler Stallins Band. More than suggest them!

We almost booked The Connection Band but ended up not being able to in case of weather. Act of Congress is great too!

2 nd Coming and Fly by Radio are booked by Music Garden. Chris and I listened to both if them, but you should, too. Connection Band is booked on Gig Masters. Don't know about Act of Congress.

Razz Ma Tazz! No one sounds better and plays everything under the sun mom went to school with one if them.

Go out to Gigmasters.com as well. I haven't had time, but they have a lot of bands that Music Garden does not have. Also.....tons more on music Garden than the guy Chris talked to sent! Love you, see you Saturday!

Bonus Round for the band

We had a solid 200 I believe. It was comfortable. We had both large round tables and high-boys scattered around the room. We had a spot designated in the room for an open-air photo booth so if you don't have that you'd have more room. Had a DJ and dance floor as well. The ceremony got a little cramped with 200 people, so that might be something to consider. Trish will take great care of you.
