Running friends: Anyone got a recommendation for a really good place to get running shoes somewhere in London/Cambridge or south east? After 10 years using the same...

St Albans: www.runnersworld.ltd.uk/ Treadmill. £100 odd quid for shoes, so it Must be a Speciality store.

Foot Traffic in Bolton are good, just a little far away from your patch. They sorted me & my dodgy knees for zero-to-marathon training a few years back. They video & analyse your gait on a treadmill before recommending shoes, but I daresay others will do the same or similar.

Mike Varney has a big team in Harlow / Hertford/Ware, he understands sports (ex physio for Tottenham spuds) and may be a decent start point ..

I wear Brooks Adrenalin and have used Nike Structures. Use them for hobbling around in the rain forest with a hip that is looking forward to a replacement. They tell me the Birmingham is the way to go.
