what does it state in your tenancy agreement. tell them your dads friend rents property and is a member of the RLA. (Residential Landlords Association) and will check everything for you should they not give you back your deposit. you have to make sure the property is given back in the same state it was given to you with fair wear and tear. if you have had pets and you can tell you have had pets> ie you can smell cats then you will have to sort that out. if you cant then they would charge you.
