Space 39 Art Bar & Lounge is right downtown in a good area. I use to like hanging in Patio de Leon.:)

I know it's not in the Cape, but there is a jazz club in a shopping plaza on the SW corner where San Carlos, Gladiolus, McGregor intersect by Iona. It's called Roadhouse Cafe. It's actually back in there not real visible, but it is FANTASTIC! I mean top notch classic jazz. It's not cheap, but the food is also top notch. If I had the means, I would go there at least once a month.
Help! My sister and her vegan family are coming for Thanksgiving and I need to find a truly vegan-friendly restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner. Anybody know of one on the...
Amy R. replied:
Like Stephanie said, there isn't much for vegan-friendly restaurants around here. You could always call places in advance and ask what they can do; many places can make something basic- pasta, veggies, etc. If you want food at home but aren't cooking, you can always order from Whole Foods: http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/holidays/thanksgiving-menus/vegan-feast

Nobody goes to Mexican Cafe for the food! LOL. Although, the one and only time I ate there I enjoyed it.
