I stayed at the Blencathra Centre on a stag do, it's about 5 miles away but we booked a taxi both ways....

Think someone said The Village Hall in Threlkeld rent out some of their space...They have yummie cakes and scones for anyone that is passing and need a cup of tea.......The Horse and Farrier Inn will have great food in the village but it may be wise to book if there are a few of you.....
