Mommies in bossier/Shreveport, I need some recommendations for a pediatrician. Ellie's original pediatrician was horrible. (Dr. Colvin) so I need to find her a new one...
Kendall D. replied:
They may also sound ghetto ish when you they get on the phone, but trust me, she's wonderful and her staff is amazing and so helpful. 318-946-8183 Go to bombinamd.com and you'll see her.
Kendall D. replied:
Selena goes to Dr. Loud. Bombina Pediatrics. She's on Hollywood avenue which most would consider kind of ghetto, but her doctor is AMAZING!!!!!!
Lynnsey T. replied:
Dr. Colvin is an OBGYN?
Lynnsey T. replied:
Nvm I see where you fixed it hahahahaha I was like he's amazing! I've heard Mid City on Line is good. WK South Pediatrics is where Charleigh goes but idk if they're still accepting Medicaid patients.
Brooke B. replied:
Not Colvin! Dr. Carper was her pediatrician! Dr. Colvin was my obgyn when I was pregnant... Lol. Oops.
Alexis V. replied:
Dr Manchandia is great! On shed road. Switched her from LSU to him over a year ago and never leave disappointed.
Trey D. replied:
Dr Sanders off airline at Willis Knighton bossier.. by far the best pediatrician doctor around!

Dr Stephanie with progressive children's clinic she is awesome girl! When I was a nanny the boys went there and I would take them to every appointment she nice actually cares and takes her time doesn't just give them medicine.
Mandy K. replied:

I saw and Madilynne sees Dr. Terry Kendrick. His office is over off olive street.
Lisa A. replied:
Dr. Donald Mack's office is wonderful! He was my doctor, then Jessica and is Raiden and Jalen's! He still practices and his son is now there too.
Danielle N. replied:
Dr. Thomas Latiolais at Acorn to Oak Pediatrics. He is the best!!
Sary D. replied:
Dr. Hughes and Dr. Humphries. Stay away from Dr. Hawthorne he is disgusting!
Lee C. replied:
Dr Ritch at Mid City. He is awesome. We almost lost McKay when she was born and he never left her side until she was safe.

Courtney M. replied:
Stay away from hathrone and machandia lol Dr Holloway is amazing she's out on hearne ave
Brandi S. replied:
I use Dr. Carter on hospital dr. She accepts newtime moms whose baby is on Medicaid. Then there is Dr. Haney & Dr. Pace at mid city pediatrics. They only accept certain types of health ins.
Cristy O. replied:
We use Dr Pace at Mid City but would recommend any of them in that bunch. We have seen them all. You will not be disappointed.
Mandy C. replied:
Scott Ritch or any of the others at Mid City Pediatrics
Alright Naples peeps,
The Clydesdales need your help. We are in need of getting our kids a Florida well child check and get them hooked up with a pediatrician but...
Kara J. replied:
Call Dr. Robert Wilson and let the office know we referred you. He only takes new patients on referral.:D
Shenna B. replied:
Lol....too bad! We use Anchor Pediatrics. Started with Dr Dudley and switched to Dr Shepard a couple years ago (Dr Dudley moved on the other side of Naples).
Tracy D. replied:
I know a great pediatrician who would love to see the Clydesdales but you have to drive a little ways; Dr Ritch.
Amy C. replied:
Tracy Long Davis we may have fly Scott in.
Amy C. replied:
Stacy Ritch Apparently there is a great need for good pediatricians here. Soooo, if you'd like to relocate…
Grady D. replied:
Amy Clydesdale, since I think you still have a house here for sale, It seems only logical that the Clydesdale's be the relocating party.
Bria B. replied:
Dr. Dulce Dudley. Hope she's accepting. She's a fbcn member. Our favorite!
Kara J. replied:
Did you try Dr. Dulce Villacampa Dudley? She goes to our church.:)
Bria B. replied:
Ugh. Sorry. Hey you could be us ret. Military and have to drive 100 miles to Venice for a pediatrician. Dr. Marilez Baumgartner is close next to Home Depot off Naples Blvd. (239) 431-6413.
Stacey C. replied:
What a shame...we went to Dr Irra for years...until we got to know how fabulous Dr. Dudley was as a Christian and Pediatrician....good luck!
Cindy E. replied:
We used Dr. Podos with Anchor and like him.
Kara J. replied:
You can take them to a family doctor, at least to get the first checkup...then they can refer you to a pediatrician accepting new patients.:) David and I see Angela Beckwith, who is a Physician's Assistant under Dr. Emily Essert. She goes to our church as well and has 3 young children of her own.:)
Gregory C. replied:
Cindy Bowman Elser Dr. Podos is a no go as well. Thanks
Stacey C. replied:
Dr irra at Naples Pediatrics is good.
Gregory C. replied:
Stacey Brown Cline Nobody int he NCH group is accepting new patients that are 6 and 7 years old. We found 1 under 5 and a few new moms but thats it.
Last thing on my momma list.. We haven't decided on a pediatrician yet. Any recommendations??
Ashley M. replied:
Dr. Ritch at mid city is our dr and we adore him. He is so personable and loves on your kids. The entire practice has great docs and staff which is important. Your primary doctor may be off the day Tripp gets sick and you need to have trust in knowing that you can rely on good care from someone else in the practice you choose. You will have that with mid city!
Alexis G. replied:
We love Dr Ritch at midcity but have seen many of them and all are great!! They are open 7 days a week and now has a "fast Lane" doctor all the time which is quick and great option!!
Jim P. replied:
We see Dr. Mackey Quinlan and Abbey Carroll at Pierremont Pediatrics, and both are great! We have only good things to say about them, the nurses, and staff. I wish the sick and well waiting areas were separated better (less worry about Sarah catching something at a well visit, not that it's happened). The 5 min from home and work makes it sooo much easier. Try to limit your driving distance when deciding so sick appointments don't need a journey across town first!
Jennifer D. replied:
Love Dr. Cush-John at Mid-City; they all are great - love Scott Ritch, Dr. Cockrell, and Dr. Hobson too. Weekend hours are good in case your little one gets sick on a Friday or Saturday night and they now offer a "fast lane" doc each day for walk-in patients (no appt).
SarahBeth T. replied:
Dr Abbey McGough Carroll ! She's awesome!!!
Lisa F. replied:
Dr. Abbey McGough Carroll is the bomb! Seriously she is amazing!
Cadie H. replied:
Dr. Frank Hughes!!
Katie K. replied:
Dr. Gene Mack
Meagan S. replied:
Abbey Carroll. Abbey is a BBC member and was so nice and helpful when she saw Avery right after birth. Dr. Mack was the one who saw her before transfer to nicu. They are at pierremont pediatrics. I have heard so many great things about their office.
Cindy M. replied:
Dr Frank Hughes by Willis Knighton Bossier
Ellen E. replied:
My sister, Virginia Carter, is a pediatrician at Willis Knighton in Bossier.
Brittany D. replied:
Dr Haynes at portico is amazing! Dr Hobson at mid city is also great but you will wait forever
Kim J. replied:
Trevor's is Dr Parker at WK portico pediatrics. Love Haynes, Parker, Pistorious there! Not long wait times, infant well room, Trevor always wanted to go see Dr Parker even when he wasn't sick. He thought he was his friend! We still love him 14 years later. He is very personable. His partners are great and they are open on Saturday. He once gave me his cell number when Trevor had a bad virus and told me to call anytime during the night!!
Bailey S. replied:
We use Dr. Pace at Midcity. We love it!
Sarah D. replied:
Dr. Kendrick, Dr. Barnett and Dr. Susannah Walker!!! You will not wait those crazy 2 hours like elsewhere and they love your kiddos!
Valerie M. replied:
Mid City is our pick for sure. Best hours and care I've seen in town. All the doctors we've seen there are great, but Preslee's is Dr. Ritch. And, recently, they've added a doctor to schedule that just does walk-ins, to speed up the wait.
Jamie H. replied:
Dr Gene Mack!!!! You can make appts and visit with perspective pediatricians. I did!!
Francesca M. replied:
Angela Cush-John at midCity peds. She's the best!
Penny G. replied:
Dr Cockrell or Ritch at Mid City. Really- I love all the dr's there.

Kelley V. replied:
Angela Cush-John at Mid City is amazing
Kelly M. replied:
Mackey Sugar Quinlan at wk pierremont pediatrics (think that's the name of the clinic)
Susan W. replied:
We use Dr. Ritch at mid city. I love that they are open on weekends. Also they always have an on call dr when they are closed and the actual dr will call you back. We have been very happy there.
Sarah B. replied:
I still secretly sometimes go back to Dr Cush John because I love her so much she's hilarious! and so good with kids
LaurenScott P. replied:
Dr. Frank Hughes and his awesome NP Jennifer Patton! The drive to Bossier is worth it! And the waiting rooms are quick!
Leann B. replied:
Dr. Scott Ritch- mid city- love love love him. Love the well room side and the newborn waiting room. Sometimes they have a wait but I've never felt rushed through. Good luck!

Morgan C. replied:
We use Dr. Singh at ArkLaTex childrens clinic at Willis knighton bossier and LOVE her!! Wouldn't take Avery anywhere else!!

Dr. Humphries is a great pedi! I wanted her so bad but she didn't accept Medicaid patients at the time. Everyone that uses her loves her!! She's near Willis knighton south I believe.
Afternoon ladies: I am about to move to Folsom from Bossier City, Louisiana, and was wondering if anyone had a pediatrician that they LOVE and would recommend (my...
Lauren M. replied:
Hi Kristin. This is a constant topic in our MOPS group. It seems there are many in the area. I go to Dr Michelle Kelly in Carmichael and absolutely LOVE her. But there are probably a few that are closer.
Marisela M. replied:
I recently switched from Dr. Garg to Dr. Hepworth both in Folsom. Dr. Hepworth is pretty laid back. I like his trouble shooting method for treating symptoms. I imagine he's pretty open minded about parents choices such as yours. I'd recommend meeting with them before deciding on a doctor.
Ok friends, Brantley is no longer on Medicaid and we are both on his daddy's work insurance. Looking for pediatrician suggestions that are at highland clinic.
Karen T. replied:
Monica Haynes. She is absolutely the best! Edited · 1 · Sep 19
