If the car has a servo, the government rules say you will probably need an auxillary pump to get the required braking effect. Caravan brakes are designed to run without a servo, so are fine. Similarly, if your towed car doesn't have a servo, it's designed to run without a servo, so will be fine. You also have to be able to reverse with the towed car attached. Some basic braking systems won't allow that to happen, so check that out as well. If you break the rules, you could well get away with it. I've got. Citroen c1 on back of my mh with a car a tow a frame , no servo but connected to pedal, tel 01202 632456, they very helpful and explained ins and outs , law etc, and I just fitted myself, spot on ( fellow mechanic here)

Paul Giles it's a lifan apollo 125. It broke down on Sunday recovery said it was water in carb to drain a little petrol out clean spark plug and try it. Did that won't go u can hear she wants to. Drain fuel tank empty and put fresh in still trying to go but won't. She will eventually with a kick start but dies and won't rev.
