Never been on a cruise and don't want to mess up the only time I will probably ever go. Would like to go to the Caribbean. Anyone suggest the best time to book a cruise...

We went on our honeymoon in January 08 to the eastern Caribbean on a princess cruise and LOVED it! Perfect weather then and cheaper! We didn't like our experience with Carnival as much, but have heard Royal Caribbean is great too. We booked via cruisesonly.com
Michelle D. replied:
Go to vacationstogo.com. When you call to book you actually talk to a travel agent. You can save a TON of money.

Feb or March are good. April gets expensive because many school in the nation have spring break. May is also good as well as the fall (sept, Oct, early Nov, first week of Dec is always really cheap too). Love Royal Caribbean....folks are not too old, not too young. Not too much partying and not bingo every night. The Southern Caribbean is really nice...leave out of San Juan, PR and hit St. Kits (take boat to Virgin Gorda), St. Lucia, St John, St. Thomas. Grand cayman is nice. I would avoid Belize (when you get off the boat guards are there holding machine guns) and Jamaica (everyone will try to see you drugs and it's one of murder capitals of world). Feel free to PM me if you want more tips or suggestions. I have been on about 8 Caribbean cruises:) Have fun. I always book online so maybe someone else will have agency suggestions.

We went in October, had perfect weather. Booked online through vacationtogo.com on their 90 day ticker

We went through Royal Caribbean for our cruise and when in June. The weather was great, not hot yet. It was a fair price even for a exterior room. Make sure that you include the airfare though... That way they will cover any changes in itinerary and air delays.
I am looking for advice on which travel agency to use. Need a flight from Bozeman to Houston, TX the middle of March. Anyone dealt with our travel agencies around here?

Is there a travel agent out there who will watch airfare for me? Will adding in an overnight hotel qualify for a package deal? Do travel agents benefit from these...
