Yes, AND, if you rebuild it without the exact same page names and metadata, you lose your spot. Small Business Owners need to educate themselves about this - there is no magic fix.

Betsy already knows me. SEO is complex, and Steve, any SEO company GUARANTEEING anything is full of BS. You can't guarantee against Google's algorithm.

SEO is complex, takes at least 4 - 6 weeks to implement AFTER an audit for your terms, and needs to be maintained. There's a lot you can do to help optimize your site, but if you're in a heavily competitive business, it costs $$ and patience. My friend Larry at Island Real Estate, who is an expert on this by the way, likes to say "SEO is a Journey, not a DESTINATION."
