I just had B&J Appliance Services out to fix my dishwasher last week. Bert is a super trustworthy and easy going guy, with very reasonable prices. I was meaning to put a general recommendation on here for him after my experience and I forgot to. He also looked at my washing machine while he was here because it was filling slowly. He pulled the hose off the back, washed the screen that was clogged with sediment and after that it worked great. He didn't charge me for that extra bit of service. (828) 883-3531

He also buys broken appliances and refurbishes them for sale, we have gotten many appliances he has repaired and all are doing great, we've had our washer the longest - 3 years and it's still running like new. Try Rick Salter. Rick is in the phone book under Edwin Salter. They are excellent and much lower priced than most. They will also tell you if it can be fixed for a reasonable amount before they fix it.

Thanks. Have already checked with both Salter and Appalachian Appliance and they couldn't help. Replacing would be a better option if the microwave and oven weren't tied together as a combination unit!
