younguo speedlites will do, cheap under 50 mm kit lens will do, expect you get bumped into, drinks get to your gear etc etc, ebay fake Gary Fong light sphere as modifier.

Shot melbourne clubs for a few years. I started out with a canon 450 d and. 430 exII flash. Light weight kit. I started out with a diffuser cap but they tend to fall off and when u r in the middle of a circle of 10 people asking for the next photo, u dont think too much about ur cap. I moved onto a bounce card from a site i think was abetterbouncecard.com.au 5 years on i still have it. Great light dispersment. Shutter speed was around 1/6 to 1/15 lighter clubs shorter times. I used a 18-55 mm kit lens. Fair warning. I dont know a single club photographer that after a year or 2 of weekly shoots didnt hate the clubs. It can be draining. Fun for a bit tho.
