The Dog Creche at Driffield (Georgina Georgina Martin ) has one of the few properly and professionally qualified dog trainers in the area, degree level qualified. Also Rosie Townend at Carr Lane Kennels Nafferton holds the same degree in canine behaviou r and training. I've got it too but currently on maternity so haven't renewed my trainer's insurance this time. Beware of going to unqualified trainers, its an unregulated industry, anyone can call themselves a dog trainer and take payment for it. Check prospective trainers out, they should use modern force free methods. Run a mile if they suggest rattle cans, choke chains, pack leaders etc. A bad trainer can end up costing you far more money when you have to go to another to put it right. A good place to go on the net is the training and behaviour forums on the Dog Rescue Pages, some excellent advice on there smile emoticon
