George Smith The attorney fees, in most cases, willl be more than the amount in dispute. The contractors use this as leverage. The contruction laws were written to protect the contractors, not the homeowners.

i used a lawyer who was good and fair with my flood insurance. i will recommend him for a consultation. may ne told not worth going forward. i would pay for and send 2 lawyer letters and then may go to court for the claim. meanwhile dig deep and pay for all work to be done or it never will get done.
