Velvet Tattoo opposite Norfolk Square. Owned and operated by Katja, her Instagram is [here](https://instagram.com/katja_velvettattoo?igshid=1 ob27 b8 jhhsbx) The website is [www.velvettattoo.com](http://www.velvettattoo.com) She's away from 31 st-5 th, but if you email with an idea of what you want, where and what sort of size, she can give you a quote. She's also my SO so I do have a vested interest in it, but I'd still reccomend her even if I didn't love her

Depends on what kind of tattoo you want. Theres loads of amazing shops but some only do certain styles of tattoos. I like Dead Slow, No Friends, Inka, Gilded Cage and Angelic Hell to name a few.

Dead Slow is my goto place. I've only worked with Harry, who is a legend.

I've had good experiences in Dead Slow and 1770 tattoo. You should consider that while the shop reputation is important, you want to find an artist who's style you like first and foremost.

Ideally what you should be doing, is researching an artist that does tattoos in the style you want rather than going to any artist and hoping it works! Even if the artist you want isn’t based I. Brighton it’s always worth it to travel a bit outside of the city to get the work done!
