This guy is great....aaa service network 1-800-349-4866. I have used him a few times.

I was able to fix ours myself with a ten dollar part and instructions from repairclinic.com. They are in Canton and open 7 days.

We get the insurance through Consumers Energy. It covers appliances (all or the ones you want). It comes in very handy because they are efficient and don't work on commission so you know they aren't trying to rip you off. My dryer pooped on me yesterday and they'll be here Monday to fix it. You may have to wait 6 months until it's actually covered initially but I think it's well worth it.

Turn the thermostat to off. Unplug for at least 60 seconds. Plug back in and reset your thermostat. This will put into a thaw cycle. If this doesn't help, then Brighton appliance which is the same as AAA, it all depends which serviceman you get as to the quality of the work:-)
