Oakland University has some cool places on campus that aren't Meadowbrook Hall. There is the clock tower over by the student center and the fountain in front of the library. If you're not interested in parks maybe Partridge Creek mall might have a fountain or something? For parks, I highly recommend Stoney Creek Metropark, Rochester Hills Civic Center Park, or Yates Cider Mill.

The Cranbrook Institute is a huge educational and cultural complex in Bloomfield Hills, MI, in the same county as Rochester Hills. They have some beautiful buildings and grounds in there. [https://www.cranbrook.edu/](https://www.cranbrook.edu/) There is also a big farm and mill in Wolcott Mill Metropark that is fairly near Rochester Hills.
