Thanks for the info chuck, currently the bike is in bits after my ex-missus mishandled it, currently, it's at mechanic's place in HK. So I am not too concerned about things being damaged. I was planning to ship it over here, fix it up myself in my spare time and hopefully get it on the road here. Any Idea, what documents the CZ Govt needs? Since the Bike was never registered in HK (I bought it while I was travelling through India) I have the original bill of sale, an affidavit witnessed by a judge saying the bike was sold to me and the original Registration Certificate from 1947. And if need be, the Matchless/AJS association in the UK can send over a V5 (I think) from the chassis/engine number. Regarding the port of entry, I think I'll just have it delivered to Dover and perhaps use DPD or DHL to get it delivered here since the company I usually use to import my bikes don't deliver Door to Door, just to their warehouse.
