There is a place that I go in Herndon, VA when I want a great BoW. It is Jimmys Olde Town Tavern on Spring St. The owner is from Buffalo and has brought our authentic WNY foods to this area. Also they have every Sabres and Bills game during the seasons. Place is filled with Bills, Sabres and other WNY memories on every wall.

Many of the usual suspects around here have slowly pulled the menu item we so ardently seek. I went to Thirsty Bernie on Saturday in Arlington, alas, the BOW is no more. I was reduced to an order of wings and two large mugs of beer. Cold comfort. But a June trip to Bflo is in planning and I expect to enjoy it soon. Of course, it always tastes better when you share the experience with friends and family. That's the REAL secret.

Dolce Amore Catering . . Kenwood Road. Buffalo 14217 . . pick up or drop off . . they have a website. Had there food a couple times at a friends yearly party. Very good.
