If you want to pay almost double for the "salon experience" by all means try California Hairworks. If you want to get a brilliant experience for your hair, call Sevina at Sevina's. It's in her home, but it's set up as a true salon, in a side split. It's not in the basement or anything. She is an artist.

I have heard nothing good about Salon Teo on Brant. Place to avoid apparently. I actually really like Pure Hair and Colour Group at 460 Brant (Upper Canada Place, where Cinestarz is. It has its own entrance on Brant. I think a bubble tea joint just opened beside them).
