[Question] Looking for coffee shop recommendation in Burlington, VT during Green Mountain Stage Race I'm going to be in Burlington for 5 days over Labor Day weekend and...

Maglianaros has great coffee. There's also brio coffee works which is a roaster on pine street run by a super friendly couple, they'll give you samples. Scout is good too. Bluebird has an outdoor coffee stand and they sometimes have nitro cold brew. On Saturday morning I'm assuming you'll be racing but the farmers market has a few good coffee stands too. Uncommon grounds is a staple, but not the best coffee in town. Also good luck on the app gap

I live a block away from Scout & Co and I would highly recommend it! It's got great coffee and even some unique ice cream flavors. However it's on the outskirts of Burlington so if you're looking for something in the heart of Burlington I have like suggest Muddywaters and Uncommon Grounds.

Gotta second visiting Brio. Coffee's great, owners are good too. Though it's not a cafe, I think they'll do a tasting with you. .

I've been to Burlington a few times, and haven't been impressed with any of the cafes I tried anywhere downtown (at least in terms of coffee, lots of good sandwiches). Doing a little googling, I'd try Scout & Co, they have a location just on the [edge of the downtown area](http://www.scoutandcompanyvt.com/about-us/), and it looks like they source their beans from a great selection of roasters.

So jealous you're doing GMSR. Hardest race of the amateur New England calendar by far. We always rented a house and took our own coffee/brew toys, and I'd recommend staying closer to sugarbush ski resort for the race. I don't have coffee recs, but do get lunch at the warren general store after the time trial, and make sure to eat at Flatbread after the road race.

Don't drink coffee, drink Heady Topper.

The moka java at Muddy Waters made by Vermont coffee roasters is one of my favorite blends. I also enjoy uncommon grounds because they roast in-house which smells delicious and they have a lot of varieties. Both are on church street/main street.
Oooh, I was actually gonna make a thread about this in a few days. I'm gonna be up there for school next friday. Anybody know of anything specifically within walking distance of the main campus of Champlain College?

GMSR! The highlight of my race season every year from 2009-2012. No better way to make a 4 feel like a pro. Have fun.

I did GMSR last year and it was a hell of a race. Is App Gap still on the route? That climb chewed me up and drooled me out. No specific coffee recommendations, but I'll echo /u/AUBeastmaster in saying that Warren General store is the place to be after the TT. Right next to the start area, good sandwiches, and a little creek out back to wade and cool off in.
