Another thing, about taping....everyone has their own way of doing it, but at the clinic, we long ago switched to using braces from the House of Hoytt....AMAZING difference in comfort and appearance and recovery time. They're simple and don't require a ton of tape, no styrofoam cup, etc. We apply the braces immediately after surgery, and when the glue wears off and they come loose, the ears are usually standing on their own.
