Any recommendations for a private, creative Dutch language teacher? I am not very big fan of language schools :)

I know one in Leiden - I'm taking an intensive month course - 3X/week - 3 hours/visit. She offers various types of courses. I think she is fantastic! (and she can help you prep for the language test which will qualify for your Dutch language requirement if you have to have it). She is on Facebook also - http://keytodutch.com and Key To Dutch.

Guys you should look into Gilde Samenspraak. It's how I learned Dutch. Basically they partner enthusiastic native Dutch volunteers with expats and you meet up for a few hours each week and just talk. It's one-on-one, so lots of personal attention. It's also free (you might have to pay something to sign up, but that's a one time fee). You do need to be able to speak conversational Dutch before joining

Sylvia Clements of Learn Dutch Fast in Bussum is super! One-on-one tuition in a fun Dutch environment.
