Where is the best place in the area to get flowers and pre started plants? We need to fill some gaps

The weekend weather is looking decent, now that it's close enough to tell, so I'll be having open hours for my homegrown starts again. Here's the posting from last week; I haven't set the hours yet because I have to clarify a couple of other obligati ons. But I still have lots of tomatoes, brassicas, cucurbits, certain herbs, a few flowers, and various perennials (here at my house on the edge of Frick Park). http://marenslist.blogspot.com/.../may-24-26-plant-sales...

Try Sylvania Natives in Squirrel Hill. They sell native plants grown from local seed stocks. No veggie plants but lots of native flowers.

Garden Dreams Urban Nursery in Wilkinsburg. So helpful, local, affordable.

I wish I'd known about Chapon's a few days ago! We moved to the South Hills in August and are just learning the area. The place we'd go to when we lived in the North Hills was Soergel Orchards ...that may be the one you are thinking of in Wexford, Kelly Noyes . Another amazing place in the north is Brenkle's near the North Side: http://www.brenckle.com/
