Is there a chiropractor in BG who is open today, has a very extensive history of working on pregnant women, and isn't crazy expensive? I can barely walk, my lower...

I think Clear Choice across Main Street from Fred Meyer might be open on Saturdays. Both chiros there were great but I really liked Dr. Dan.

I'm sorry you're in so much pain, mama! All I know is that the ladies at The Tummy Team are miracle workers and people come clear from Salem and sometimes fly to see them. I hope you find a solution soon so that you can rest and find comfort

Dr Karis Cooper isn't in BG but she is FABULOUS! I had chronic back issues while pregnant, threw my lower back out and couldn't bend or barely walk and she helped after just 1 visit. Downtown Vancouver but worth the drive.
Lenci L. replied:
Dr Karis specializes in pregnant patients as well My OB actually referred me to her.

Dr. Opdahl is in bg. Unsure if he specializes in pregnancy, but he is awesome! Would be worth the phone call

I work at Synsvoll Chiropractic, and Dr. Max is amazing. Not open today, but call Monday at 7:30 am and you will be able to get in. Tell them Maria sent you, as I will be leaving on a 2 week vacation Monday. He has a ton of prenatal experience. 360-687-6307

Randall Norris at Nu-Life at the east end of town (corner of Grace and Main). I worked with him for years and he adjusted me throughout both of my pregnancies. 30+ years of experience, fantastic. 687-5163

Also, if you can't find a chiropractor open the girls at Clearwater Escape in BG are fantastic massage therapists, specialized in pre-natal massage, and bill insurance (if that is an option for you). They would be able to alleviate some pain. Good luck!
Dan D. replied:
Dr. Norris is amazing, and is very gentle. I think he IS taking new patients. However, he has really cut back on the insurance he takes, if any. He has a very good new young doc, Dr. Ken Ransonet (who DOES take insurance) that my wife and I see. His technique is very similar to Dr. Norris (GENTLE) and he is very helpful. And they DON'T tell you how many visits you'll need or make you sign a contract. On top of that, they also have an in house masseuse as well who is very good.

I am a huge advocate for Dr. Opdahl. I don't know if he works with pregnant women but it wouldn't hurt to try. I have gone to so many chiropractors who don't try to "sucker me into a long treatment plan" and guess what, I had a torn disc in my back, abnormal curvature of my spine AND my neck. None of them bothered to do an x-Ray to check anything out so even though I was being adjusted, the problem was not actually being fixed. So yes, I was "suckered" into a long treatment plan that is expensive but, in my opinion, being able to run and play with my kids, pick up my baby or lay her down in bed without dropping her is all priceless to me. I went from being in constant pain to now hardly ever having any pain after just a month of care. I feel better than I have in years. So yes, chiropractic care can get expensive but it's so worth it when it actually fixes the issue you are experiencing rather than a temporary "feel good" Also, they can tell you how long it will take for you to heal because they are highly trained doctors who went to school for this stuff and they know what it will take to get everything how it should be again. Sorry for the long rant. I just think that taking care of yourself is SO important and chiropractic care is a huge part in overall well being. I really hope OP finds a solution to the pain. I remember pregnancy pains and it's the worst.
