Would Sandy be too far? Knoll Crest Gardens is a really nice place and the weddings look like fairy tales. Might be worth a look. http://www.knollcrestgardens.com/

The Chameleon restaurant in PDX has an organic farm in Corbett there are pics on their website. The owner is awesome the house is available for prep and getting ready they allow overnights and I think they have a barn if the weather is bad. http://chameleonpdx.com/

Monique ...a little input from a 15 year Event Coordinator...do not do your own catering!! Please trust me when I say this. What you try to save in money, you usually spend in equipment rentals, permits YOURE responsible for the food & alcohol...the pressure and distraction to do all of this for you, your family & friends...it's sooooo worth it to let someone else do the work!! I'm happy to meet with you and your daughter and talk through some suggestions and look over contract bids for you to help negotiate Cell 626-826-4352 This will open up venue options for you to find more of what you WANT

It isn't in the Portland Area, but throwing it out there anyway as just something to look into. http://www.greenvilla.us/ Greenvilla Barn has amazing weddings, in fact Chris Voigt's daughter got married there.

Carmen Lawrence looks beautiful! Even further away than the one we are looking at though
