You'll find that most tattooists get their rocks off designing work rather than copying the designs that fill the insides of plastic wallet folios. Ken Stewart at Pino Bros does a lot of nature/floral designs that are really stunning. His forte is illustration, so a lot of his work looks like it was ripped out of storybooks and old botanical prints.

I'd recommend Beynurs Tattoos or King Street Collective, both owned by the same guy, I'm getting two done this month, but neither are pets so can't help you there. But he does pretty good realistic tattoos and all sorts of other styles:)
