Which was the original studio so other people can avoid the same fate? I'd recommend either Kingsley Hayward over at Skin Illustrations who is one of the best at lettering in the country by far, or Amy Savage at The Warren who is super feminine and colourful. Both in the local area you requested in your recommendation. You may be required to wait for these two to become available, but that is testament to the work they produce. Also, be prepared to pay around £60per hour and up for SOLID, well crafted, long lasting work. Squid Ink are alright, but I've seen quite a bit of ropey colourwork come out of there over the years. As a side note, I'd be wary of any tattooist claiming to be such, but has no evidence of work on their publically viewable social media accounts.
