Does anyone know where or someone who teaches yoga and stretching? I have an injury and can't cardio fitness or weighted exercise and am starting to pile on the pounds.

Active Life offer an exercise referral service at centres in Whitstable, Herne Bay and Canterbury. You can ask your doctor to refer you to the service or you can self refer. They have classes and sessions designed for people who have illnesses or are injured or for those in need of specialist care during classes and can offer support for rehabilitating injuries. Call Jenny on 01227 264444 and she can talk you through the process for referral :)

I don't know if you can get to Whitstable but if you can then Catherine Chapman is fabulous! Very experienced & lovely relaxed classes. I really enjoyed her pilates class. She's on Facebook so have a look
In Dover Street, there's a 'gentle gym' that fills the gap between rehab and a regular gym. Might be worth researching. http://wellnessrenaissance.co.uk/

My lowest price is currently £6.50 and I charge per half term block. However all my classes for September are full with waiting lists at the moment... Probably too cheap ;-) But I know that still stretches it for people on very low incomes so I can offer additional discount if needed. You can check out my website www.yogaandmindfulness.co.uk for class timetable, let me know if you want to go on the waiting list for any class(es). Also thinking of starting up day time community class by donation, but looking for very low cost or free venue for that. Not likely to start till 2016.
Hello everyone! Was wondering if anyone could recommend or know of any yoga classes in Canterbury? Many thanks :)
