Col was a well known Photographer in Ipswich for many years. I'm not sure if he is still alive, would be in his 70's now but I believe his wife who taught me at Ipswich Girls Central (now Central) in the early 1970's is alive. My Mum was a photographic colour artist who worked for Whiteheads 1 st the did contract work for Whiteheads, Col Ryan & Photo Driml (where the florist is on Brisbane & Thorn Sts.

Ted from Sublime photography (now at Graceville) bought the Ryan studio in 2001-ish when it was on cnr of East n Roderick Street.

Dan and I had our engagement photos at Col Rynas in 1986 when they were in Brisbane St. Ted Hagemier did some baby photos of Zac for me in 2000 after he bought out Col Ryan Studios, then closed up and moved to Graceville (he is now down the coast).
