I had a bad experience with an LG fridge a couple of years ago ... Brand new and a warning sensor kept going off - called LG service and they were rude - said not our problem and call the store where you bought it... I called the store, told them to come pick up the fridge and I'll buy another brand. Will NEVER buy another LG product again just because of that 3 minute call with LG. As it turns out, the sensor was faulty and the store had it repaired before selling it.
