Raigmore Motel, Green Drive Halls, Raigmore Community Centre all have excellent parking but not directly in town centre. A lot of central venues have little or no parking. As for public liability insurance I use a-n.co.uk and they cover me for organising events as well as attending them, not all venues are insured for craft fairs.

Thought I remembered you:-) Spectrum Centre is an excellent venue but no free parking close by, seems to be venues are either central or have parking but not both

Price is usually a good one for me too, the best venue I think is Raigmore Community Centre, can be well advertised and a separate area for teas if needed plus loads of outside space too.

I find Green Drive a bit hit or miss, unless it is advertised you get little footfall and even then it is usually folks who happen to be passing, can't say I've ever done amazing there but my best two were are Raigmore Community Centre and an outdoor event down at South Kessock.

I used moneysupermarket.com to find an insueance n got 1 for less thn a grand for me & my partner both young new drivers .. Cheapest ended up bein with 1 st central without the black box x

Hia Jen; sorry to be a geek lol; down here all households have to apply for a formal licence from the Local Authority to store skips on the public road (here its from our Building Control department) to store it on the public road ... (for safety reasons) but you don't for storing it on your own driveway - or the alternative car-park they're suggesting. Sorry if I'm just sticking my oar in tho ;o)
