Lucile, I have been told that when you buy things such as appliances, yard tools etc. from the big chains they work with the manufacturer to use lower quality internal parts so as to bring the price down. I use Carver Appliance for all my appliance purchases and for yard equipment I use a real equipment store locally I use Taylor Rental who now sells and services I also have had great luck with the equipment place on Rte. 58 in Carver but I can not think of their name ( possibly Norfolk equip.) Many people think sticker price is all that matters, I'd much rather spend a bit more up front and know I bought quality and have good people backing it.
